The Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) is operated by two distinct sites: The Array Operations Site (AOS) and the Operation Support Facility (OSF) shown in this picture. During the operations phase of the observatory the OSF is the workplace of astronomers and the teams responsible for maintaining all the telescopes.
